The Formovie X5 sets a new standard in projector technology with its innovative features and advanced specifications. Utilizing the smaller DMD 0.47 chip from Texas Instruments (DLP471TPFQQ), this projector delivers exceptional visual performance. Its native 1920x1080 resolution enables the display of all the components of a 4K UHD image (3840x2160) separately, achieving a level of detail that surpasses expectations without the human eye perceiving the operation.

To enhance the viewing experience, the X5 incorporates frame interpolation, effectively reducing judder and ensuring smooth video playback. This projector is also compatible with 4K HDR10/HLG content, providing vibrant and lifelike colors. It should be noted that HDR compatibility extends only to static metadata.

Featuring a high-power light source, the X5 employs an ALPD laser with a phosphor wheel. While the brand claims an impressive brightness of 4200 Ansi lumens, it is worth considering the industry-standard Ansi lumens for accurate measurement, disregarding the CVIA Lumens debate initiated by Chinese manufacturers in the past, which led to legal disputes with Epson.
